The Disciplined Agile Scrum Master Program fulfills the 14 contact hours required to sit for the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM).
Tuition and Fees include the exam voucher and access to PMI's class materials through a student portal.
Certification necessitates passing the PMI Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) certification exam. Upon successfully passing the exam, you will be awarded a digital badge and certification, further enhancing your professional credentials.

Our classes and programs are open to all! You don't need to be a student at the University of Utah to enroll. We provide convenient online registration and ongoing student support throughout the program. In addition, you will become a noncredit student at the University of Utah!

This program is offered in multiple formats, including daytime and evening options. Choose between online/virtual synchronous or in person learning to fit your needs. Dates, times and formats vary from semester to semester.

Tuition

  • Tuition: $614.00 + Special Fee: $130.00 = $744.00
  • Tuition is due at the time of registration.
  • University of Utah Employee Discount Eligible. Special fees are excluded from this benefit.
  • Financial aid is not available for this noncredit program. Students are encouraged to inquire with their employers to determine if tuition assistance is available.

Who Should Attend

Before sitting for the DASM exam, candidates typically benefit from having some experience in agile methodologies, project management, or related fields.
While there is no strict prerequisite in terms of years of experience, it is recommended that candidates have a foundational understanding of agile principles and practices. Additionally, completing a DASM training course or obtaining relevant education in agile project management can help candidates prepare for the exam effectively.
